I’ve had a face lift – OK, not me, Kirsty, me, the Kirsty Larmour Photography blog, me the Kirsty Larmour Photography website – me, my business….
Last year I took an amazing course, much of which focussed on the business of photography, and one of the exercises was to get people who knew you to use one word to describe you – and in defining yourself you would in turn define your business. The words that came up about me included creative, adventurous, organic, earthy, bohemian, fearless, feisty, genuine, arty, innovative, natural, hot mama (from an ex colleague no less, not my husband!!!) calm, peaceful, loving, effervescent, dreamer, driven and original… wow, that’s a lot of words to define yourself (and that’s not all!!!)
All that combined into not only a new logo and new branding, it’s much more than that, it’s a whole new feel for my site, my blog, my business, that is just So.Much.More.Me.
It’s whimsical, with a touch of organic and earthiness – it still incorporates the beautiful bright flowers I love so much. It’s original, which is how I see my work – because my work comes from me, from my soul - it can’t be copied, and nor should it be.
And because we always need a picture, here’s a little someone that has hold of my whole soul…. ♥
I am so excited about all of this and have been ridiculously busy behind the scenes this summer working on it all and making sure that it’s really representative of me. I hope you enjoy the new feel, I’d love your feedback - and why don’t you stay a while, and have a read, and enjoy some of the artwork that I so love creating,
