Project 10 October 2013 | Abu Dhabi Lifestyle Photographer

It’s that time again… to document an ordinary day, of ordinary observations in 10 (or so) photos…. this was last week, just a regular old school and work day for us… followed by a ridiculously busy afternoon of chores and errands – no wonder I’m feeling so exhausted this week!!! Thank Goodness the Eid Holidays started today 😀

Early morning, dumping her breakfast dishes in the sink – I love that she still wears these pj’s that she’s had for years and are far too short for herLunchboxes and laundry….. After school dropoff I opened some photo deliveries from the USA….Which included these…. which you may have seen on the wall at Arabesque Ballet Centre – I may be biassed, but the one on the right of those 3 cheeky little ballerinas is my favourite… I’ll blog some of these images soon…Off to the mall after school…To pick out some new pumps for this little Lady’s hip hop classes – yes, there’s me in a picture too, as she admired herself in the mirror!!We then called by the supermarket to pick up toiletries for Eid donations which go to the many workers camps around the UAE. When we got home we made sausage rolls for the next days lunchboxes – veggie of course!! And Saffy tried out her video skills on her ipod to document the process…I LOVE that her hair tips are still pink – we did this the first week of the school holidays and I honestly thought it would have washed out by now, but no, it’s still there (albeit faded) and pink dip dyed hair has just become so part of her – chewed plait ends and all!Left over pastry scraps get made into pesto twists! Also for school lunchboxes. Sort out the laundry time… And a work in progress – we are making a big collage of instagram pictures of our summer holidays – I got them printed at Origrami, and they are fabulous but we need to actually attach them to the canvas and get it on the wall….

Now please head over to see my lovely friend Efi from Studio 8 Photos in Thessaloniki, Greece…

Wishing you all a happy and peaceful Eid. Eid Mubarak – hope everyone has a lovely break, Kirsty xx
