Wishing all my blog readers a very Happy National Day on this 38th Anniversary of the United Arab Emirates. I won’t be in Abu Dhabi to celebrate this year, but for those of you celebrating your first national day, let me tell you it’s a big, big party!!!
Instead, I’ll let you see a few snaps of Saffy who very proudly celebrated national day at school last week where everyone dressed up either in national dress or the colours of the national flag. She loved her red, green, white and black tutu!!! As any 3 year old ballerina wouldAnd here she is showing off her henna artwork and the flag on her hand – they all had vests like the national flag – 350 kids dressed like that looked really, really great. (for the fellow photogs this was at ISO 2500, f2.8, 1/160, no flash, in the assembly hall).
Have a great day everyone – enjoy the fireworks, Kirsty x
Louise - Saffy is gorgeous as always – looks like lots of fun xx
