I love when I get thank you notes from clients who tell me I’ve captured moments or connections they didn’t think could be caught in images that remind them of the beauty all around them.  I had a note like that just yesterday and it made me think of this film clip (yes, it’s a Kodak commercial) – it says things far better than I ever could.  I love this – it gives me goosebumps. 

It reminds us all of what photography is about….  it reminds us that we matter, we’re important, that we are loved, that we will be remembered, that we made a difference.  And that’s what motivates me as a photographer – striving to document relationships, connections, smiles, tears, laughter, moments in time – so that we all live forever.
