5 years ♥ Abu Dhabi Photographer

5 years – 5 whole years since I got married – wow! T and I are off our to celebrate this milestone tonight because apart from anything else, we’ve never actually celebrated our anniversary on our own together before. So excuse me for a personal babble here but this is big excitement in the Larmour house!

Wedding anniversaries so far…..

Year 1 – I was working in the Philippines, T in China – he came to visit me for the weekend – it rained, a lot, we got literally flooded into the hotel, and had dinner with my colleagues – yippee doo – and I was pregnant – so no celebratory drink for me!

Year 2 – holiday to England – Yorkshire Dales with my parents – lovely meal out and beautiful weather, but more of a family day out than a romantic celebration.

Year 3 – Saffy had her 18 month checkup – we were living in China, but needed to see a Doc in Hong Kong – so I undertook a 400 mile round trip, by public transport, in a day, with an 18 month old, and arrived home exhausted at 10pm – oh, and I was pregnant again!

Year 4 – in Aleppo, Syria – treated ourselves to a gorgeous hotel – but still, 2 kids, 2 adults in the one room and dinner options to suit the children rather than the romantic ideas I might have had!

Year 5 – I have a wonderful friend coming over to babysit, dinner is booked, posh frock is ironed and I’m ready to go!

And to amuse you, (and because every post needs a picture!) here is collage we have up at home, of all the craziness on a sunny Friday afternoon in England, 5 years ago today….ktweddingHappy Anniversary babes, I love you, Kirsty x
