Incredible India | Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

I was absolutely thrilled to recently have a photo chosen for an exhibition in Hong Kong. The exhibition was sponsored by Jet Airways and the theme was “Incredible India”. My image was one of the Golden Temple in Amritsar.

We went there on holiday in December last year – just 5 days after the Mumbai terrorist attacks. Our decision to visit India was not taken lightly, especially as a few years ago the course of my own life was changed forever as a result of another terrorist attack. But believe me, I am so glad we still went – The Golden Temple was truly an amazing and spritiual place, and an oasis of calm in a troubled India. Golden-Temple-Amritsar2

And, I’m an internationally exhibited travel photographer – which makes me happier than ever that we didn’t let such terrible attrocities change our plans!!!
