Happy National Day | Abu Dhabi Photographer

Wishing all my blog readers a very Happy National Day on this 38th Anniversary of the United Arab Emirates. I won’t be in Abu Dhabi to celebrate this year, but for those of you celebrating your first national day, let me tell you it’s a big, big party!!!

Instead, I’ll let you see a few snaps of Saffy who very proudly celebrated national day at school last week where everyone dressed up either in national dress or the colours of the national flag. She loved her red, green, white and black tutu!!! As any 3 year old ballerina wouldNational-Day02And here she is showing off her henna artwork and the flag on her hand – they all had vests like the national flag – 350 kids dressed like that looked really, really great. (for the fellow photogs this was at ISO 2500, f2.8, 1/160, no flash, in the assembly hall).National-Day01

Have a great day everyone – enjoy the fireworks, Kirsty x

I'm Kirsty Hello There!

Hi, I'm Kirsty, a lifestyle photographer and photography educator who lives in India. My approach to photography is to capture real life – with a little sparkle on top fueled by my obsession with pretty light. I want to treasure the moments that need to be remembered.

Grab a cup of tea and have a roam around my blog to see my photography style and ideas. (Check out the Details section up there on the menu bar, and the FAQ's for lots of info too). I post pictures on here from recent photo sessions, as well as some personal photo projects and some ramblings about life in general.
