I can’t believe I’ve not blogged these pics – especially when I’ve had someone as gorgeous as Charly in front of my lens!! Charly came to me on a school work placement and was a dream of a girl to work with – she assisted me on some shoots and learned some of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes when running a photography business. Not only that, but she helped me pull together one of my favourite shoots to date – the Wizard of Oz Shoot (which if you’ve not seen you really should pop over and have a look at – it also featured in Dreamer magazine :D) so that should tell you just how far behind I am on blogging! So as part of her work experience I told her she had to have the camera turned on her – and feel what it was like from the other side of the lens…. this gorgeous girl works hard both sides if you ask me!! Charly actually found this building and suggested it herself which I loved! We found all sorts of crazy stuff in there like discarded passport photos and old film reels – it was fabulous! AND it gave us lots of great variety in capturing images in different lighting situations – which made for great fun for me, and a great learning experience for her.Charly, I am so sorry it’s taken me so long to blog these – I had a fabulous time working with you – you’re a super smart girl and I know you’ll go far in life – thanks again, a million times for a great week, Kirsty xx
Sarah B - Gorgeous girl and such a fun, different, interesting setting too – must have been fun to play around like that
Janine - Wow! Great shots in an amazing location! You must have been like a kid in a candy store with all that beautiful light and those textures. Beautiful. Jx
Rebecca - These are soooo great Kirsty. It’s not very often I fall in love with “Senior” photos. What a cool location. XO
