30 days of | Click Pro December Project

I shared some previous ClickPro monthly projects. I love that these push me to look for different photo opportunities that I might not try otherwise. In December the topic was quite loose…. just “30 days of…” and you could choose your own topic but then shoot it every day. I chose “30 days of my front steps”. Living where we do in the jungle in Goa, India in a tiny little house we are super grateful for a small balcony and a yard to extend our living space and so that we’re not all in each others faces we utilise it a lot, with a hammock and some chairs out there, and the steps where we sit and talk to the dogs or hang out on as a some extra seating space too. I wanted to capture the life that happens on this little connecting piece of space that joins out indoor and outdoor worlds and where so much life happens. I also loved that I got some photos of the kids pre-Christmas preparations including the dance for their school end of year show, and I also grabbed the opportunity to get up on our roof and capture it from that perspective, and that’s not become one of my favourite places to capture the kids out in the front yard from!

They’re not the most stellar photos ever, but that wasn’t the point – they’re little pieces of life, that in the coming and going of life might have just slipped away without this project to focus me and I am super grateful for that. Hopefully I’ll be back with another project to share next month, Kirsty xx
