We’ve walked to this spot, jumping over the cracks in the limestone pavement to reach it, for 3 seasons now. Watching flowers pop up from between the stones, and sun, wind and rain shine or lash at it. We’ve even got up to see the stars here in the dead of night. It’s my favourite viewpoint in the whole area. And now, when we look carefully into the distance we see all 3 of those beautiful Yorkshire peaks we love so much in the background, each of them snow covered and shrouded in natures beauty marking the end of a year. The end of a small, and strange, yet I deeply hope, strengthening season of our lives.
I love you girlies, Mama, xx
