2015 was a big year for us in the Larmour family and nothing sums it up better than seeing the weekly images I posted to the Wish You Were Here project over the course of the year. (You can see last years set of 52 images HERE). Our travels continued – we started the year in the UK before heading off skiing in France and ultimately driving down to spend an extended period of time in Morocco, from there, with a brief visa run to Abu Dhabi which enabled me to catch up with some gorgeous clients too, we headed to Russia and spent several months driving along the Silk Route and exploring the wonders of Central Asia – Uzbekistan will remain one of my favourite countries. We met family for a safari in Tanzania and spent a month in beautiful Turkey, before heading back through Iran and across the waters to the UAE again, where we have settled again and continue to appreciate the beauty of this place. We ended the year in Sri Lanka, but that will be a story in my 2016 Wish You Were Here roundup…. so here we are, a picture a week to sum up a good chunk of a year of travel, 60,000km of driving and 40 countries….
Thanks for following, for let it be said, it has been wonderful to hear words of encouragement as we went on our way and they have lifted our spirits during the hard times and pushed us along and kept us smiling at others. Please do feel free to pop over and see the project or follow my travel page Letters from the Larmours (or on FB), where I hope to post more updates on the amazing places we visited, or follow along on Instagram (which I keep far more up to date than my blog or FB!!! 😉 )
Here’s to a fabulous 2016 for everyone, Kirsty xx
