I think it’s no surprise to anyone how much I love exploring around Abu Dhabi and the UAE and capturing photographs in some of our more diverse landscapes. So one afternoon some we headed off with some friends for a picnic out at the fossil rocks. The 5 kids loved clambering over them and playing/exploring/fighting/hiding together as kids tend to do and I was delighted by just capturing them as they passed by in the beautiful sunset that was cast over them. I’m not a big fan of asking my kids to smile for the camera, but anyone who has read “Photography on the Fly” will know that I’m not afraid to prompt or encourage them into moving in a certain direction if the light is pretty and the compositions work for me. Sometimes just calling their name gets them to turn around for that split second in the right place and enables you to capture just that right picture.

I LOVE this one of all 5 kids together – I’ve told them this will be their album cover when they make a record!! Haha!!
