Happy New Year | Abu Dhabi Children’s Photographer

Happy 2013 to you all. I’m just back from my travels and so I’ve not managed to make a slideshow of the past year as I’ve done before – but let it be said, 2012 was a wonderful year to me – I met new little people coming into the world, saw people in love commit to a life together, saw families grow, and enter new adventures – I met so many new and wonderful people – I was able to give back in various small ways to people and projects dear to my heart and I saw my girls grow and flourish and make their Mama proud.

One of the most wonderful things to happen this year was being invited to be part of the “Letters to our Daughters” project – I have met women from each corner of the world through this project – both other amazing photographers and writers and people who have connected with me because of it and the record it has become has been a blessing in more ways than I can count. I continue to love my Project 10 where I capture the little things that make up a day in our lives and I hope I’ll repeat my birthday month photo a day project this year. I’ve pushed myself photographically, creatively and personally and whilst life is still a little crazy I’m at a happy and content place full of excitement and anticipation as we face the next year of life. It’s a good place to be.

This is where we were on New Years Day… we started the first morning of 2013 on the beach in front of my in-laws house in Ireland… isn’t it stunning?

More pictures from our Christmas travels coming soon – but in the meantime, I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store – I know I’ll be reconnecting with past clients, and meeting many new ones – I’ll have travels to experience and adventures to have and I wish you all a wonderful year too,

with love, Kirsty xx

I'm Kirsty Hello There!

Hi, I'm Kirsty, a lifestyle photographer and photography educator who lives in India. My approach to photography is to capture real life – with a little sparkle on top fueled by my obsession with pretty light. I want to treasure the moments that need to be remembered.

Grab a cup of tea and have a roam around my blog to see my photography style and ideas. (Check out the Details section up there on the menu bar, and the FAQ's for lots of info too). I post pictures on here from recent photo sessions, as well as some personal photo projects and some ramblings about life in general. Leave some love, check my page out over on Facebook to stay up to date, and come back again soon,
