Oman Road Trip | Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

Anyone that regularly reads this blog knows that we LOVE to travel in my family, and I love opening my girls eyes to new places and experiences. This was such a different trip to what we usually do – this is really just a set of notes and snapshots (I never take my pro camera…

Dancing in the sunbeams * Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

I’m back from my travels – in body anyway…. I think my mind is still 1000 miles away on the wild, endless beaches of Oman…. so please bear with me while I tackle my inbox and return calls and proof some sessions from before my trip – and in the meantime here’s a little taster of my…

Adventure here we come * Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

We’re off on our holidays so please bear with me if you don’t get any response to an email or call – I’ll be back mid April and will respond then.  When I say “holidays” I’m not sure that’s quite what I mean – more of a road trip adventure and we’re not quite sure…

Me | Abu Dhabi Photographer

Last year when I was putting together my FAQ’s I asked several friends for some input. Well, in addition to asking photography and photo session related questions it was also suggested that people might like to know more about ME! Me? Really?  And it makes sense really, that people might want to know who I am so they…

21 memories of our trip to Kerala | Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

Warning – this is long – you might want to grab yourself a cup of tea!!!  Finally I’ve had a chance to sit down and go through some of our holiday photos – I can’t believe it was back in November that we went to India – wow. I was intending to put these into…

It’s holiday time again as we celebrate Eid al Adha. Eid Mubarak to my Muslim friends and clients – and coincidentally it’s Thanksgiving so Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends and clients. We’re taking advantage of this to head off for more adventures in India – and my regular blog readers know well that…

In Print | Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

I can’t tell you how giddy with excitement I was when I got an email from Lonely Planet saying they wanted to use one of my photos in the November issue of their magazine.  It’s certainly not the first time I’ve seen my pictures in print, but as you know, I’m a bit of a travel junkie,…

Incredible India | Abu Dhabi Travel Photographer

I was absolutely thrilled to recently have a photo chosen for an exhibition in Hong Kong. The exhibition was sponsored by Jet Airways and the theme was “Incredible India”. My image was one of the Golden Temple in Amritsar. We went there on holiday in December last year – just 5 days after the Mumbai terrorist attacks. Our decision…

Eid Mubarak | Abu Dhabi Photographer

A belated Eid Mubarak to you all. Belated because I was enjoying a few days away from my computer over the border in beautiful Oman – though we did make it to Oman full of high spirits about being able to eat and drink anywhere we liked again, only to realise Eid hadn’t yet been…

It’s almost Eid | Abu Dhabi Photographer

It’s almost Eid, which means the Ramadan promotion is almost finished and I’m gathering together my big print order! So please let me know by Tuesday if you want to be included in the large block print promotion. And because I can’t post without a picture, here’s another from my evening at the mosque. Bye…

Sheik Zayed Mosque | Abu Dhabi Photographer

Our family went for Iftar the other day at Sheik Zayed Mosque. This is probably Abu Dhabi’s most famous landmark, and deservedly so – it’s an amazing building, only opened about 18 months ago, which is the second largest mosque in the world, holding approximately 40,000 worshipers. It’s also one of the only mosques in…
