Wish You Were Here 2021

Well here we are, at the end of another strange year, and at the end of another year of the Wish You Were Here project – our 8th and final year. It’s been a beautiful conversation of images with some incredible artists, week in, week out, through travels and adventures, and so much more. Global…

Wish You Were Here 2018

I can not believe it’s been FIVE years of the Wish You Were Here Project – that’s amazing… Most projects fizzle out after a year or 2 so five is an incredible achievement. I’m so, so happy to have a photo a week of little moments in our days and our travels and our normal…

Wish You Were Here 2017

I’m kind of in disbelief that we just finished year 4 of the Wish You Were Here Project. The fact it’s still going is such testament to the wonderful group pf ladies who contribute little snippets of their lives each week. For me it’s a little piece of calm in an otherwise full speed whirr of…

Wish You Were Here 2016

I can’t believe that we have completed our THIRD year of the Wish You Were Here Project – this project has become so dear to my heart. The group of ladies who contribute to it from around the world are wonderful and we share the weekly ins and outs of our lives – the ups and…

Wish You Were Here 2015

2015 was a big year for us in the Larmour family and nothing sums it up better than seeing the weekly images I posted to the Wish You Were Here project over the course of the year. (You can see last years set of 52 images HERE). Our travels continued – we started the year…

Wish You Were Here

At the end of 2013 a group of photographers I know started talking about starting a project – a postcard once a week of where we were and what was going on in our lives. I knew 2014 was going to be very busy for me, but I also knew this would keep me accountable…

Wish You Where Here 2022

When the project wrapped up at the end of 2021 I decided I couldn’t let go of this habit of savouring time, week by week, and I would continue by myself to pull together one photo roughly every 7 days that maybe summed up a moment I treasured, or where we were, or that I wanted to share.

Wish You Where Here 2019

Wow, wow, wow! It’s really been 6 whole years of this amazing project, the Wish You Were Here project! And through dodgy wifi and difficult countries, international moves and sickness I’ve kept posting and sharing to our log of a picture a week of life where ever we are. And I absolutely love that I…

Project 10 – July 2014 | Abu Dhabi Photographer

I’ve not updated my Project 10 for a few months – life has got the better of me and our group has dwindled as we’ve all got other commitments, but I’ve loved this project over the last few years and I’d love to keep doing it myself, just to try every now and then to…

The Smiles of India | Our Why….

Everyone who comes to India is struck by the people of this country. I think it’s impossible to come here and not be impacted by the kindness, the welcome, the smiles, the waves, the chats people want to engage you in in the street, the hospitality you’ll be offered. One of the things I’ve found…

Oh that desert light | Abu Dhabi desert shoot

I really am so very lucky to do what I do in such a beautiful part of the world. When people contact me for an Abu Dhabi desert shoot we chat a lot about where and when and what to wear and how the session will go – there is a little more planning needed…

Happy New Year | Abu Dhabi Children’s Photographer

Happy 2013 to you all. I’m just back from my travels and so I’ve not managed to make a slideshow of the past year as I’ve done before – but let it be said, 2012 was a wonderful year to me – I met new little people coming into the world, saw people in love…

Project 10 May | Abu Dhabi Lifestyle Photographer

This month I shot my Project 10 photos on a Saturday – our girls hanging out day – I wanted to shoot with a different perspective so I only used my 100mm macro lens to try and capture the little details of the day – sometimes we’re so caught up in capturing the big stuff…
